You bet! Glad to see all of the great work you are doing! I am just finishing up the semester with my courses (It has been rough! I have 57 graduate across two methods classes!), and I am not teaching/working for the Department this summer (I need a break from department teaching, but as a result am not getting paid either! LOL! So, poor but happy!). So, since I am beholden to no one at KU and my schedule is mainly self-imposed and mostly consists of writing manuals and grant proposals, my time is fairly flexible. When are you going to be in over the next two weeks? I look forward to chatting with you! - Keith 816-457-1862
We are so excited to begin our Instructional Coach Program in 2009-2010! Thank you so much for your work on partnerships, empathy, respect, and professionalism for teachers. Looking forward to seeing you in October.
Hi Jim
Yes, I live in Jasper and enjoyed your stories and pictures at Friday's session in Edmonton. I am the AISI lead teacher for the elementary school (for the next 3 years we are doing an assessment thrust in our district) and also love living in the mountains. Today, I prepared copies of your assessment document for all our teachers. I'm sure they will find it very helpful as we meet later this week. I look forward to seeing you in Edmonton again next week.
Happy Thanksgiving

Jim, First of all, I want to say how much I enjoyed my first IC conference...awesome information and networking. I do need your help with something...as a first year year, and as instructiaonal coaches are new to our district, we have received an "interesting" evaluation tool and are in the process of creating a more relevent tool to evaluation IC's in our district. Do you have a copy of an evaluation tool that you have found effective? I would love to see tool currently in use.
We are currently working on one for high school IC's. We were given a tool for this year that is currently used for our elementary instructional specialists, but many of them also serve as quasi administrators and we want one that is more relevent. We know that it must be performanced-based, and each of our three high schools are taking somewhat differenct approaches to coaching, so this is a small challenge for us. I'll keep you updated and all input is welcome!
Hi Jim, I wanted to let you know I'm really finding the Time on Task Ap to be a great tool. I have two teachers focusing on ToT right now. I shared the ap with a number of colleagues at the MASSCUE technology conference and they were enthusiastic. I hope there's one in the works for opportunities to respond, etc. The highlight was keynote by Tony Wagner. I think it was probably recorded and I'll see if I can post a link later on. Thanks for always sharing news about new or revised tools! Cheers, Molly

Can you let me know if the ToT ap works on the ipod touch? Are there any other ipod or iphone aps in the making?
