NSDC Reflections

Good leaders are mindful of the way they shape others' emotions

Part of leadership is recognizing that we, in a very real sense, create the emotions around us.

Coaches' questions reflect challenges, commitment

As part of my work on the Advisory Team for PBS's Peer Connection, I had the opportunity to share my thoughts on questions coaches typcially ask.

Professional learning and the "soft bigotry of low expectations"

There is no road to school improvement that does not require effective professional learning.
